Women on boards

The Queensland Government is committed to increasing the number of women on boards in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.

Research has shown that diversity of gender on boards provides financial, performance and social benefits.

White Ribbon Workplace

We are committed to ensuring our employees work in a safe and healthy environment, and that is why we are participating in the White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation Program.

The aim is to create a community where all women can live in safety, free from violence and abuse. A key part of the program is engaging with men about the importance of their role in social change to prevent violence against women.

The department’s Executive Leadership Team has shown its commitment towards ending domestic violence by signing the White Ribbon pledge to stand up, speak out and act.

Our steps towards workplace accreditation will play an important role in helping to stop violence against women in the Queensland community.

Proudly working towards becoming a White Ribbon Accredited Workplace
